FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

DOCUMENTS AND CERTIFICATES.<\/strong> All documents must be presented in original; a photocopy is also required<\/u>. This also includes the applicants passports and German residence permits.<\/p>\n

PASSPORTS AND TRAVEL DOCUMENTS. M<\/strong>ake sure that your passport has a validity of at least three months beyond the visa you are applying for. Also, make sure that at least two empty \u2018VISA\u2019 pages are left.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>MINORS.<\/strong> If one or both parents do not appear in person on the application day, a parental consent notarised by a German notary is mandatory.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>VISA FEE<\/strong>. Visa fees are payable in cash (euro) and Maestro<\/u> card at the Visa Office of this Consulate.<\/p>\n

ERASMUS STUDENTS<\/strong>. Erasmus students (enrolled in a German University) that aim to spend in Italy up to 1 year to integrate their German study programme do not need an Italian visa. Erasmus students are only required to register at the local Questura within 8 working days from their entry in Italy.<\/p>\n

STUDY VISA<\/strong>. Students who aim to enroll in an Italian University must apply for a visa within the 29th of November. ATTENTION<\/strong>: A certified B2-level knowledge of Italian or English (depending on the classes which will be attended) is required.<\/p>\n

APPOINTMENTS FOR FAMILIES<\/strong>. Families are allowed to book 1 single appointment for all its members.<\/p>\n
